Connection
The movie, The Blind Side, is about a boy named Michael Oher. He goes from homeless, parent-less, family-less life style; to a wonderful life with the Tuohys'. Michael shows exceptional courage through out the movie. In the a specific scene, he gets into a car wreck with his little brother in the truck. Michael sticks his arm out to block the air bag from seriously injuring his brother. In the moment Michael was gifted with the courageousness to do such a wonderful thing. In the quote, Nelson Mandela speaks of many losses that had occurred to his people, that a lot of courage would be needed to mend this tragedy. Between the two examples of courage in this genre, they both share a lot of loss between their people. In Michael's case, his "people", would be his family. In Nelson's viewpoint it was his tribe.
